Celebrities begin their preparation for the annual Met Gala within months of the event. Salon visits are becoming more frequent to hone those strengths, gym sessions are boosted up a notch, and the world’s most acclaimed skin specialists are on speed dial for every blemish that might appear suddenly.

For the latter, prepping the skin for such a monumental event requires considerable attention and dedication – and celebrities like Kate Hudson, Zoë Kravitz, and Karlie Kloss don’t just get your regular, regular facials. Instead, they turn to Ivan Pol.

The celebrity beautician has a staggering number of Hollywood’s elite, who frequent her exclusive spa as the fashion world’s most infamous red carpet approaches. Pol’s method, known as The Beauty Sandwich, is attracting celebrities for the “Triple Threat” multi-layered facial treatment.

Forget about extractions or face masks – The Beauty Sandwich uses a gentle radio frequency superimposed on infrared and blue light to invigorate the entire face and neck.

Pol has developed a series of signature treatments using its advanced radio frequency technology tailored to provide a natural solution to common aging problems, such as loss of volume and reduction of wrinkles.

It uses a high-tech skin care method developed to improve facial features, improve skin texture, firm skin, and help reduce wrinkles as a non-toxic alternative to invasive treatments. Each client’s “sandwich” is adapted to their skin and their concerns.

“I’ll change the recipe depending on what the client wants to focus on. Since my method is about elevation as opposed to augmentation, you can focus on two or three facial features ”, Pol Explain.

“For example, Karlie’s makeup artist, Hung Vanngo, wanted an elevated, tight look on her skin – a ‘ripped off’ face to complement her makeup inspiration, emphasizing the elevation of the corners of her eyes.”
