BEARS PLAY IN NASHVILLE FOR REGULAR SEASON TITLE ASUN

Nashville, Tenn. – The Central Arkansas men’s soccer team travel to Nashville to face Lipscomb in the final game of the ASUN Conference season. A win or draw for the Bears would earn them the ASUN regular season title and host the ASUN conference tournament.

TEAM NEWS
Both teams continue to find good form heading into the game and will look to earn all three points in Nashville. After a week off, Central Arkansas holds the fitness level over Lipscomb who played at home against Mercer on Tuesday night.

FORM GUIDE
The Bears enter the game on a two-game winning streak and hold at least a share of the ASUN regular season title. With victories over Jacksonville (2-0) and Liberty (3-1), which makes them that honor. UCA holds a 10-4 record with a 5-1 ASUN record.

Lipscomb enters the final game on a three-game winning streak, with wins over FGCU, Jacksonville and Mercer. The Bison hold a 9-3-2 record with a 4-2 ASUN record.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
Jonathan randall scored his first goal for the Bears last time out against Liberty and is looking to continue his scoring form. Rubyn gill Also looking to continue his fine form after scoring against Liberty and adding an assist. Alberto Suárez is currently tied for first with 7 goals in ASUN, and is looking to keep his goals coming from the center-back. Zach Schawl and the defense is looking for another blank sheet.

MATCH HISTORY
It will be the fifth meeting between the two teams, with Lipscomb leading the series 3-1. The Bison won the last time the two faced off 2-1 in Nashville.
