Valuation modernization efforts could mean big changes for real estate valuations, which is why HousingWire invited Lyle radke, director of warranty policy at Fannie Mae, to speak at HW Annual September 27-28. Radke will be speaking as part of The Future of Valuations panel, discussing hybrid valuations, valuation waivers and the FHFA’s request for input on valuation modernization.
At Fannie Mae, Radke’s responsibilities include the development and maintenance of the warranty policy, including the Fannie Mae sales guide, industry awareness, training and communications. He provides policy expertise and support to internal and external projects and teams, including assessment modernization, UAD and forms redesign, service duty, product development, guarantor guarantees and the Loan Quality Center.
Prior to his current role, Radke was Credit Risk Analyst and then Credit Risk Manager at Fannie Mae. Previously, he was Chief Evaluator of Altisource and Ocwen Financial Corporation.
Other speakers on The Future of Valuations panel include Shawn Telford, Chief Evaluator at CoreLogic, and Kade Clark, vice president of alternative assessment products, data and technology at Radian.
