Find out how I created this natural makeup with Morphe 2 products

Some time ago I was looking for the perfect dupe for my beloved highlighter which was out of stock.

Becca’s Champagne Pop didn’t find its best match in Morphe, but I thought it was the perfect highlight for a night on the town.

But can the brand shade it all the way and work for a more natural makeup?

I took up the challenge of finding out, using mostly Morphe 2 products (and a light dusting of highlighter, if you use it sparingly it works on a daily basis).

I’m not claiming to be a makeup artist in any way, but that’s what I thought of these natural makeup items.

Morphe Hint Hint Skin Tincture

The first thing I noticed about this skin tone was how pigmented it was, it is a lot stronger than I initially expected.

It offers very good coverage and a little goes a long way.

I always use a moisturizer base (the minute I’m obsessed with SA de Cerave cream) but I think it would work well mixed with your moisturizer for a pop of color.

It really brightens up your skin and if you’re feeling washed out (with winter not exactly the best time of year for glowing skin, I know I am) this is a great choice to fight back. against that.

If you are an avid foundation user looking for something less mushy, this is great. I really like it.

It costs £ 16 and you can buy it here.

Concealer concealer

Morphe Hide and Peek Concealer
Hide and seek concealer

It’s a pretty decent concealer, I usually use the NARS Creamy Concealer which I find offers a bit more coverage, but for the price it’s totally worth it.

It’s not mushy and does a good job of covering up blemishes and dark circles.

I think it’s a good option if you don’t need to hide much, but if you’re trying to hide dark circles and spots, you might want something more daring.

It’s good for a natural look.

It costs £ 12 and you can buy it here.

Wondertint Cheek and Lip Mousse

It’s marketed as a blush you can build with, but I find it really doesn’t have a lot of pigment to start with.

This surprised me because I found that Morphe retains color really well. I have one of the more subdued shades out there, but if you like bold blushes you might be disappointed.

It’s fine for a subdued blush but I tend to like a bit more color.

It costs £ 12 and you can buy it here.

High impact highlighter

Morphe High Impact Highlighter
Morphe’s High Impact Spark is perfect for a night out

A little goes a long way with this, it’s perfect for a night out.

I really like the highlighter, I really like to feel quite shiny when I bother to put on makeup, so I was delighted with that.

You just have to pick up your pace, which isn’t great as it means you really get what you pay for.

It’s out of stock at the time of writing, but can usually be found here.

L-Balm

This might be my favorite thing of the whole range, I want it in all colors.

It’s a hydrating lip balm with a lot of color, you can instantly see the impact it makes and I was so impressed.

The only colors in the range are pinks, I’d be curious to see a nude shade.

But I can’t recommend it enough, it’s perfect for a quick wash of color off your lips.

You can have it here.

Morph
The finished look

I finished the look with my go to mascara, Better Than Sex from Too Faced. I use a travel size because I think it is better value for money with how often the tubes need to be replaced.

I was a huge fan of Lush mascara, but my ultimate choice has been Too Faced for years – is there a better one on the market that I should try? Let me know at @TheReviews_Club on Twitter.
