Summer is here, and that means it’s time to work on the golden makeup looks. And so, beauty mark with a conscience, RÃEN, which has been offering gluten-free, cruelty-free and cruelty-free vegan makeup since its inception in 2019.
It is also a brand known and loved for its range of highly pigmented shimmering eyeshadows that beautifully reflect the sun, and to celebrate the sun, celebrity makeup artist and creative director of RÃEN, Kate synnott shares her step-by-step guide to achieving that summery shimmery golden eyeshadow look.
Step 1: Prepare the skin with RÃEN ELIXIR Repairing Face Oil. Take three drops with your fingertips and massage on the neck and face. It is an anti-aging oil that hydrates your skin and gives an illuminating base to your foundation.
2nd step: Use Armani Neo Nude Foundation all over, I like to rub it with my fingertips for natural, even coverage.
Step 3: Apply RÃEN’s FaceTime shade Hot 75 Degree Eye Shadow Palette all over the eyelid and under the eyes. I like to use the RÃEN All eye brush to blend under the eye and my finger for the eyelids.
Step 4: Add shadow obviously in the inner corners of the eye with the smaller tapered end of the All eye brush
Step 5: Use Disco Eye as a topper in the center of the upper eyelid, apply with your finger.
Step 6: Frame eyebrows with RÃEN’s wishBROWOWBROW in the dark. Follow the natural shape of the eyebrows and use the brush at the tip to comb through the eyebrows.
Step 7: Finish the eyes with RÃEN’s CAKE Mascara. I like to use the pointed part of the wand to create more volume. (I just won the Glamor Best of Clean Beauty award)
Step 8: Dust Victoria Beckham Matte Bronzing Brick all over the face and neck. Use the darker shade for the outline and the light shade all over the face for a natural summer tan.
Step 9: Apply Brighter Cloud Blush in the shade Beam on the cheekbones and bridge of the nose. I use my fingers for this and tap lightly.
Step 10: Finish the look with RÃEN’s Kiss My Liquid Lipstick Shimmer in Cosmo – glides on all lips for a glassy effect.
