New Glow Recipe Moisturizer Helps Balance Confused Skin

0

There is often unspoken pressure to categorize your skin into one of a few specific types: dry, oily, sensitive, etc. But in reality, it is not the most logical way to think about things and certainly not the most practical way to buy skincare. Because the skin is constantly reacting to the environment it is in, the products it needs will always change too. The new Glow Recipe moisturizer, Plump Hyaluronic Cream, is designed to be there no matter what your skin is going through, whether it’s dry patches caused by winter or acne breakouts.

The new Glow Recipe Moisturizer is a creamy, cushiony cream filled with multi-weight hyaluronic acids that hydrate the skin layer by layer, helping to deeply hydrate and visibly plump the skin – perfect for combating winter drought. It also contains polyglutamic acid, a peptide that helps increase the effectiveness of hyaluronic acid and locks in moisture for hydration throughout the day. If your skin is irritated or reactive, the iced fireweed extract is there to support the skin barrier and balance things out.

Continuing its love affair with fruit infused formulas, Plum Plump, of course, like the rest of the Glow Recipe line, is boosted with antioxidant fruit extracts. Not one, but three types of plums (kakadu, illawara, burdekin) work in synergy with hyaluronic acid to leave skin pink and plump, even on the driest days.

This launch also marks a major milestone in Glow Recipe’s sustainability efforts. Made with 20% post-consumer recycled material, the product packaging features the brand’s first refillable glass jar. Once you’re depleted, simply fill the jar with a refill pod (each made from 50% post-consumer recycled material to help reduce CO2 emissions and cardboard waste) that easily locks into place. Additionally, the COSMOS certified plums used in Plum Plump Hyaluronic Cream are hand harvested by a family organic farm in Australia, and all parts of the plums are used to limit food waste.

Obviously, Glow Recipe’s mission is to provide skin care that you can feel good about – in more than one way. The moisturizer will be available on Sephora and the Glow Recipe site on December 7 – sign up on the brand’s site to be the first to purchase the launch and scroll below for some TZR Glow Recipe favorites that are on the way. will match perfectly with the new Plump Moisturizing Cream.
