Although the famous sitcom ‘FRIENDS’ ended years ago, it still reigns in our hearts as if we saw the first episode yesterday! In fact, even after all these years, the cast members are celebrated for their iconic roles on the show. Each character has their own quirks and nuances; we’re still smitten with Rachel’s beauty, laugh at Chandler’s jokes, and can wholeheartedly relate to Joey when he says, “Joey doesn’t share food!” Another of the show’s most beloved characters was Monica Gellar played by Courtney Cox, the perfectionist chef who repeatedly thrilled our taste buds with the delicacies she cooked up on the show; remember all those Thanksgiving parties?

Although Courtney played many roles in different movies and shows after ‘FRIENDS’, we can’t help but see her as ‘Chef Monica Geller’ every time she pops up on our screens. The excitement is increased tenfold when you see her in the kitchen in person. Courtney, who has more than 12 million followers on Instagram, is often seen trying new specialties in her kitchen. However, unlike the cooking wizardry she was known for on the show, Courtney isn’t the best performer in the kitchen in real life. In fact, her cooking sessions are as messy and fun as any of us novice chefs at home. Recently, the actor uploaded a similar video showing him trying to make pizza for the first time and it has us laughing and talking at the same time.

In the video, we can see Courtney trying her hand at pizza making. From making silly mistakes to not rolling a perfectly round base, the pizza video is too relevant! Here’s Courtney’s pizza recipe: Courtney starts by rolling the dough into a thin base, then she pinches the sides to create a barrier around the edges. She lays down a good amount of marinara/pizza sauce and tops it with lots of grated cheese. She tops the cheese with caramelized onions, mushrooms and pepperoni. She then leaves it in a fire oven for 2-3 minutes, but you can easily do the same in a tawa by baking it for 15 minutes. Courtney slices the steaming cheese pizza and offers it to her crew, who unfortunately have no takers.
No matter what it looked like, we definitely would have tried it. Who can say no to “chef” Monica Geller’s pizza, right? If Courtney has also awakened the chef in you, here is a list of easy homemade pizzas you can try any day.
