We had the only ‘Euphoria’ makeup trailer tour before season 2 – See the pics

There are several identical printed panels glued to the vanity mirrors in the Euphoria makeup trailer. In all caps, they read: “SAM SAYS NO FOUNDATION (YOUR SKIN WILL BE SUPERB, TRUST ME).” Sam is Sam Levinson, the director of the series. The post is indicative of the change we can expect from Season 2 – it’s grainy, darker, and less scintillating aesthetically and possibly in person.

The energy in the trailer is palpable, even though no one is there. Seduce was the first and only guest outlet inside the makeup trailer, a sort of cast and crew heaven. Decorated with streamers, pink vinyl, and turquoise accent lighting, the trailer looks a lot like season one makeup: bright and playful. It became a creative respite for actors with dry-erase designs on actors’ cabinets, as well as individual character binders with custom-drawn cards of each individual’s face, created by artist Lauren Sullivan, who has was discovered on Instagram.

We meet on the Friday before Thanksgiving, six days before the end of production for the season. Emmy Award winner Doniella Davy in charge of makeup shows us the new HBO teaser in which Zendaya dances around her bedroom. (Davy watched the trailer the day before on Zendaya’s phone while he was there.) There are lipstick cases, commodity drawers, bags filled with glitter and neon pigments. ; on one side, filing cabinets line the walls with looks that will never see the light of the whole. (Many of the inspired makeup designs are never performed on the actors.) There’s a prosthetic arm sitting in a box on the counter and thousands of continuity photos that paint a hazy picture of what we can expect this to do. season, as well as airbrush guns, hundreds of eye shadow palettes and plastic cases filled with intricately designed press nails, psychedelic ’70s prints to studded mesh overlays, created the artist based in Los Angeles Natalie Minerva.

Of all, nails can be the most extravagant cosmetic feature of all. This season, the series was shot entirely on film. This, along with Levinson’s vision for Season 2, resulted in a 180-degree turnaround from the initial designs Davy had created for the series during his quarantine.
