What is Wylde Moon? Holly Willoughby’s new lifestyle brand launches today

This morning, Holly Willoughby launched her new lifestyle brand, Wylde Moon. A website with all of her top beauty, fashion and family life recommendations, Wylde Moon features curated content – including a monthly mood board – as well as interviews with Holly and a podcast with celebrity guests talking about phases of their life according to the eight phases of the moon.

After teasing a new project on her Instagram this week, the TV presenter immediately started trending on Google with the main search terms “Holly Willoughby Website” and “Holly Willoughby Wylde Moon” – and yes, that is. is Wylde Moon, not Wild Moon, which appears to cause some confusion.

So what is Wylde Moon?

“Wylde Moon is the embodiment of me reaching a stage in life where, although I have a lot of experience, I still don’t really know who I am,” says Holly in her first interview on the platform. “I want Wylde Moon to be a place where I can share the things I love, the lessons I have learned, the things I see and want to instantly share with others. I want this to be a place where we can also celebrate other people, where we can shine a light on them, their brands, their experiences. ‘

On the Wylde Moon website, Holly has assembled a team of women who will create content each month in different industries. In charge of the beauty column, award-winning journalist Ateh Jewel, while a trio of makeup artist Patsy O’Neill, hairstylist Ciler Peksah and stylist Danielle Whiteman run the Style section.

An intriguing vertical features Wylde Energy, where healer, crystal reader, and meditation teacher Emma Lucy Knowles is dubbed Energy Editor. His boss? The moon. Literally. ‘The Moon’ is listed on the Wylde Family Editors page, dealing with ‘Guidance and Intuition’.

We know what you’re thinking, when did Holly get so… witty? Has she been the UK’s response to Gwyneth Paltrow all this time, or has she had a moon awakening on lockdown? Well, according to Holly, while she has “always been fascinated by the moon, space, shooting stars and eyes in the air”, her spirituality began when she went to Australia to welcome I ‘ m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here and was without her kids for three weeks.

Even though my life is there for people to read, there is still a lot of me that I have kept to myself.

“For the first time in a long time, I didn’t really know what to do with myself,” she explains. “Australia is the land of alternative therapy, and the city I was in really had all kinds of things for all kinds of people. Thanks to this wonderful kinesiologist called Josie, I really started to unlock pieces of myself and when I got back to England I knew I didn’t want to stop everything I had learned.

Capitalizing on that with WyldeMoon at the time – and we mean literally there’s an “upcoming” store on the website – was a natural evolution.

“I’ve wanted to do something different for a long time, but timing is everything, so it had to feel right,” Holly continues. ‘Wylde Moon feels very personal to me and while I’m someone who spends a lot of her life there for people to read, there’s still a lot of me that I’ve kept to myself. I did it partly to protect myself and partly because I’m still working on this.
